In the first two weeks of May, students of TRHS gathered together to take the national Advanced Placement (AP) tests.  The AP classes available in a classroom at TRHS include Literature and Composition, Language and Composition, Calculus and Biology.  These classes are available to mostly upperclassmen.

As there were several students who partook of the exams, several opinions were developed about the exams.

Stephanie McLochlin, a senior, took the AP Bio exam.  “I didn’t think I did too bad, but after going over some short answers I don’t know.  The practice tests really helped in order to prepare for the exam,” said McLochlin.

Lauryn Carlisi, a junior, took the AP Lang and AP Bio exams.  “AP Lang was easier, but the AP Bio one was harder,” said Carlisi.

Scores will be available to students and teachers in the first weeks of July.
