In our society today, the fast food industries have grown to be something we depend upon on a daily basis. Most often people are in “too big of a hurry” to either cook their own hearty meals or dine-in at a healthy establishment. However, with everyone’s busy schedule, fast food restaurants are extremely convenient, yet, most often, very fattening. With that being said, Chick-fil-A has broken from the unhealthy stereotype.

Chick-fil-A is one of the only fast food restaurants that does not offer beef options. They specialize in many different forms of chicken. Their most famous dish is the original Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich, which includes: a boneless breast of chicken seasoned to perfection, hand-breaded, pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttered bun with dill pickle chips. If you do not want a friend chicken breast, they also serve their delicious chicken sandwich grilled. Chick-fil-A also serves a delightful grilled chicken wrap which includes sliced grilled chicken breast nestled in a fresh mix of green leaf lettuce, petite red and green lettuce, and shredded green cabbage with a blend of shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, tightly rolled in a flaxseed flour flat bread. This wrap is served with avocado lime ranch dressing (or guest’s choice of dressing).

Oftentimes, one may not like to partake of a sandwich or wrap; this is why Chick-fil-A serves breaded and grilled chicken nuggets. You can either choose an eight or a 12 count of the delicious nuggets. Along with the nuggets, you can request one of their many tasty sauces: Chick-fil-A, Polynesian, Honey Mustard, Garlic & Herb Ranch, Zesty Buffalo, Barbeque, and Siracha Sauce.

Chick-fil-A also serves three delightful salads: Spicy Southwest Salad, Cobb Salad, and the Market Salad.

Along with your meal, Chick-fil-A serves very healthy side options. Instead of indulging on their tempting waffle fries, you can enjoy a bowl of broccolini & kale blend, maple vinaigrette dressing & dried sour cherries with roasted nut blend. This nutritious side is called the Superfood side. Or, if you are not a salad person you can enjoy either a hot bowl of chicken noodle soup, a Greek yogurt parfait, or a cup filled with fresh fruit.

If this isn’t enough, Chick-fil-A serves an array of breakfast items! One of their many famous breakfast choices is the 4 Chick-n-Minis:  Bite-sized Chick-fil-A nuggets nestled in warm, mouth-watering mini yeast rolls that are lightly coated with honey butter spread.

In the end, even if you absolutely have to get fast food, just know that there is at least one fast food establishment that can take care of your healthy choice needs.
